JAPAN

Snarfer commented about my posts being boring. True, they are; I like Pink Floyd too much ;) So anyway, to work! We first went to Nagoya, which is… eh… in the middle of Japan you could say, North-South-wise. And on the Pacific side too. We landed at the airport we were not thinking we would land in, since there was a recent airport change in that region from the Komaki airport to the Chubu airport. So we took a normal train, by which I mean “Not Express,” and it took maybe an hour. When we finally got there, we were all tired and went to sleep. And in Nagoya, we went to several places, such as a Dinosaur Exhibit and a PokéPark where only my littlest sister played, of course, the Pokémon movie, and the World Expo 2005. We stayed at home afterwards, and then went to Tokyo via the Nozomi shinkansen, or bullet train for you people-who-do-not-know-what-a-shinkansen-is. There, we mostly stayed home, but went to another Dinosaur Exhibit, and the Chinatown nearby, where we bought a roast duck to be eaten the next day. And yesterday we ate sushi which disappeared mighty quickly. On the plane back, I was in a bad mood from the start. First, the movie, The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’s sound was cut off every 3 seconds and it was impossible to comprehend what was happening. Later, I had a Ginger Ale almost filled to the brim, and while I was drinking it, the person behind me bumped into MY chair, sending the Ginger Ale out of the cup and onto the table mostly, and some on my clothes. Which means the person behind me indirectly spilled it on me… That got me mad, as the person behind me didn’t say anything… or did she? I had my headphones on while watching The Guide so… And now I’m at home!

1.) There is a grammar error:
"On the plain back..."
Is supposed to be: "On the plane..."
2.) Sorry about Galazy sucked. I thought it was great, even for a book-based movie.
3.) I feel for the ginger ale. We miss you ginger ale.
4.) Could you put some maps of where you went?
5.) YOU CAN SPEAK FRIGGIN JAPANESE!
!PUEDES HABLAR JAPONéS!

1. Hehe, I’ll fix that.
2. It was great, but the sound kept cutting off.
“I am <cutoff>.” “Really?”
Not really part of the movie, but you can see how it was like.
3. I SPILLED IT!!!! That’s the only reason I mentioned it; I spilled it and it was all the person behind me’s fault!!
4. I don’t really want to; tedious.
5. I can speak Japanese… didn’t you know that?
¡Puedo hablar Japonés!

I still mourn for the ginger ale.
But I still think its awesome that you can speak Japanese. I knew you could, but I think that it is really cool that you can speak Japanese.

I want to go to Japan :(

Btw, your title is wrong, I think.

if (Zaudragon == 13) { printf("%s\n", "Zaudragon++;"); }

Should be more like:

if(Zaudragon == 13) { printf("%d",Zaudragon++); }

The ginger ale? ...

Favourite Song Of The Week - Atom Heart Mother Suite by Pink Floyd from Atom Heart Mother Suite

Two weeks ago, I bought Atom Heart Mother and A Momentary Lapse Of Reason at the same time. I listened to the latter first, which is a better album in a whole, but after listening to the first few minutes of Atom Heart Mother Suite, I knew that I’d like it. And I did. So it is this week’s favourite song. Atom Heart Mother was composed and recorded in a time when Pink Floyd was near the middle of the Psychedelic to Progressive rock change. The sound is Progressive-oriented, but the titles are truly Psychedelic, like Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast. Atom Heart Mother Suite is a truly remarkable piece. It beats Echoes’ time by 16 seconds, which makes Atom Heart Mother Suite 23:44 long. And that’s all “instrumental” with backing vocals. The song starts with a brass section, which is joined by guitar and bass and drums later as well. This goes on with strings and vocals, too. The end is a medley of everything that came before it, and then ends on a long, loud note with all instruments plus the backing vocalists playing/singing at the same time. Off I Go…

…To Japan! I shall be there for about 10 days. I probably won’t be on IRC much, might email a little, and probably not post here unless I want to waste money on dial-up… unless… YES! I shall borrow the neighbour’s wireless! ;)
